![]() ![]() Some games look at characters fluctuating from 30-70% winrates, but in league we freak out if a champion dips 5%. ![]() The fact that there was an unironic post a few days ago saying that a champion is unplayable now because they have a 48% winrate should speak magnitudes about how tight the balance of this game is. Compared to most competitive games, this game is EXTREMELY well balanced. To suggest that they "can't even come close to not having both absurdly strong and absurdly weak champions" is frankly a bit disingenuous to how competent their balancing team really is. On a side note, do you think infinitely stacking champions pose a threat to balance? I'd love to hear people's thoughts on that too.Įdit: looking at the comments so far it seems half of you didn't read my post, as for the other half thank you for your arguments, quite compelling.Įdit 2: good lord people I get it, and for crying out loud READ THE DAMN POST: I'm aware it can't be perfect, and that the sheer scale of the game makes balancing difficult, I am also aware that people change it to keep it fresh ITS MY YFIRST POINT ON THE LIST, READ PEOPLE. ![]() Look at duskblade for crying out loud! Am I expecting perfection? no not in the slightest, i just want a decent game where I can actually play and fight the other opponent instead of it being a one-way stomp fest. I get it, testing the waters is a part of balance, but that's what the entire pbe is for (and for bugs of course). new champions/the sheer number of champions.īut after 13 years and what, millions upon millions of dollars and you can't even come close to not having both absurdly strong and absurdly weak champions.Meta, gotta change things to keep em fresh.Don't get me wrong, I'm not an expert on the subject so my opinion probably means squat, but I've been playing league for about 8 years so I at least know what some things are (or were) like. ![]()
